Brittany + Naveen
Print Design
Recently engaged, Brittany and Naveen desired an unexpected and modern invitation for their Indian-American wedding at the historic Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs, California. Driving down the west coast, palm trees, and old hollywood visions come to mind but the wedding invitation called for something novel—an analog lenticular animation.

Approach
Brittany and Naveen set their wedding date on a numeric palindrome, February 20, 2020. With the lenticular technqiue, removing the invitation card from the sleeve creates an illusion of the numeral wedding date expanding and collapsing to reveal two circles overlapping, symbolizing the couple's union.
